Education Policy Analysis Archives (EPAA) is seeking submissions for a Special Edition on Models of Open Education in Higher Education (see announcement at EPAA is an open-access, international, multilingual journal designed for researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and development analysts concerned with education policies. Dr. Lisa Petrides and Dr. Cynthia Jimes, both of the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME), are serving as guest editors of this issue.


The special edition seeks to inform both theory and practice around the forms that new open models in higher education can take, and their potential impact on policy, on curriculum, and on the practice of pedagogy. We invite both theoretical and empirical papers for the issue, as well as papers that draw on innovative approaches to addressing this nascent area of research.
